Mara Callister, LCSW

Mara specializes in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, having completed her EFT externship in November 2020 and core skills training in 2021. She is currently working toward EFT certification. Her primary focus is helping couples reconnect, communicate more effectively, and strengthen their emotional bond. She understands the unique challenges that couples face and creates a safe, supportive environment where both partners can be heard and understood.

Throughout her career, Mara has worked in a variety of clinical settings and has held leadership positions, including serving as Clinical Director at Cornerstone Counseling Center in Salt Lake City. This diverse experience has given her a deep understanding of mental health issues and the skills to help clients with a wide range of concerns.

In addition to her couples therapy practice, Mara provides individual therapy and offers supervision and consultation to other mental health professionals. Her approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to facilitate healing and growth.
